2010 Worlds 2A Champion Yo-Yos

2010 World 2A Champion Yasushi Furukawa won the with a pair of heavily modified Yomega Fireball yo-yos.

The Yomega Raider and Yomega Fireball share the same body design so a knowledgable competitor (or modifier) with skills and parts can turn the Yomega Fireball into ball-bearing yo-yo. The axles and plastic spools have been removed and replaced with shorter axles and bearings. Plastic spacers that were sanded by hand take the place of the standard metal spacers.

These are the actual yo-yos that Yasushi used to win the 2010 World Yo-Yo contest. Both yo-yos are signed and on display at the National Yo-Yo Museum.
